About Me

Raised throughout Southwestern Ontario, my life revolved around stories. As a child, I was inseparable from whatever book I was currently reading. I became obsessed with exploring unfamiliar worlds and perspectives, and I gained a fascination with the surreal and the fantastical.

In 6th grade, I wrote a short fiction piece for an English class, and from then on, I became obsessed with writing. Honing my craft, I developed an off-beat, contemplative prose voice that was uniquely my own. I take great influence from fantasy, speculative fiction, noir, and absurdist comedy, and I love to experiment with different genre conventions and styles. Stories that deal with psychology, social systems, and the unexplainable aspects of human experience are what animate me.

My ultimate goal is to create narratives that will give someone the same pull that attracted me to writing. Storytelling is my greatest love—and it will also be my living.
